Job summary
Mantis Innovation is seeking a Controls Technician III to install and service Building Automation and Energy Management systems, including startup, commissioning, and preventive maintenance at data center facilities. You will work with subcontractors to ensure projects meet code and contract requirements, and perform calibration and checkout procedures.
The role requires familiarity with BMS software (Tridium preferred), open protocols, and the ability to travel up to 75% across sites.
Qualifications
- Experience installing and servicing Building Automation Systems (BMS/EPMS).
- Ability to read schematics and construction drawings.
- Knowledge of open protocols (BACnet, Modbus).
- Willingness to travel up to 75% for job sites.
Responsibilities
- Service existing BMS and EPMS; startup and commissioning.
- Install control components and low voltage panels.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to meet codes and timelines.
- Perform point-to-point checkout and calibration.
- Document results and lead commissioning activities.
