Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our Mission Critical Team, focusing on industrial control systems for data centers. This remote role requires 25% travel and collaboration across disciplines.

You will design, test, and deploy Rockwell PLC/HMI solutions, develop documentation, and provide on-site commissioning support for live projects. If you bring 3+ years in HVAC/BMS/EPMS, instrumentation experience, and a team-first mindset, you’ll thrive in our growth-focused

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience with industrial control system applications.
• Experience with process instrumentation (Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Level, etc.) and calibration.
• PLC experience – Rockwell PLCs; able to develop from scratch and work independently.
• Basic understanding of control system network topologies.
• Willingness to travel 30% to remote project sites.

Responsibilities

• Support project work from design through implementation.
• Develop/modify design documentation – drawing packages, SOPs, sequences, testing scripts.
• Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC and HMI programs.
• Provide onsite commissioning support for system design changes.
• Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values and supports associates.
