Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Controls Technician to support Service & Construction of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) in AWS data centers. You will install, test, and start equipment, verify field devices, and help ensure reliable building controls across sites.

You will read schematics, configure sensors and controllers, and oversee low-voltage wiring while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 1+ years of relevant industrial Controls experience, or 3+ years in lieu of degree.
• Basic understanding of Industrial controls systems and associated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily in field at Data Center sites and support multiple sites.
• Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
• Troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation for BMS/EPMS in data centers.
• Configure and test network between third-party devices and controllers or servers.
• Read electrical schematics and understand control panel drawings.
