Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Controls Engineer to provide advanced technical support for control systems and automation across a manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and lead startup/commissioning activities while maintaining documentation and driving continuous improvement for safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Operations, IT, and capital project teams, with responsibilities spanning testing, validation, and training to ensure adherence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of controls experience in manufacturing environment required; CPG/food beverage preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electronics, controls, and safety standards for food production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving control systems and automated production equipment.
• Interface with Operations and IT on design and operational issues.
• Support implementation of operational and cost-efficiency initiatives in automation from data analysis.
• Lead or support problem-solving methodologies and root cause analyses.
• Support training of peers, Operators, and Maintenance staff on control methods.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, standards, and control system records.
