Kruze Consulting, a fully remote accounting firm serving 750+ startups, seeks a Controller to lead financial management for 15–20 client companies. Excellent knowledge of full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and financial analysis is essential.

The role requires 8+ years in corporate accounting and a CPA-friendly environment. You will work across software stacks including QuickBooks Online, Excel, and Google Sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting growth and strategic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 8+ years of corporate accounting experience.
• Experience in a multi-client environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements for multiple clients.
• Oversee month-end close, GLs, and reconciliations.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to clients and management.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and regulatory standards.
• Coach junior staff and ensure timely, accurate work.
• Collaborate with Kruze Tax Team on state/local requirements.
