Agile Space Industries, a rapidly growing propulsion hardware and engineering services provider, seeks a Controller to own GAAP close, cost accounting, and internal controls across multi-site operations. You'll lead AR/AP/payroll, manage Deltek Costpoint, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS/CAS while building a strong accounting team.

The role offers onsite/remote work options with relocation flexibility and a stock-option plan as part of growth-stage compensation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 10-12 years progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years in a Controller role.
• Experience owning an ERP system.
• Experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Manufacturing cost accounting and margin analysis.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, CAS and DCAA expectations.
• Proven ability to close books and manage audits.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with GAAP financials.
• Own AR, AP, payroll, GL, reconciliations, assets, lease accounting.
• Run cost accounting for manufacturing, including inventory, WIP, variances.
• Oversee project accounting in Deltek Costpoint with FAR/CAS alignment.
• Support internal reporting for management and directors.
• Coordinate tax compliance and 1099 reporting with external advisors.
• Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team.
• Improve close cycle times and scale finance with growth.
