Job summary

Cyera, a leading data security platform, is seeking a Controller to scale its financial operations. This hands-on role manages multi-entity, multi-currency accounting and works with the Director of Accounting to establish policies and procedures.

You'll partner with external auditors and tax advisors, optimize NetSuite, and drive SOX internal controls to support rapid growth across globally distributed teams. This is a high-impact, scalable role in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, handling accounting responsibilities/functions.
• Experience with Excel, G Suite, & Netsuite.
• Multi currency, multi entity accounting ideally spanning US and at least one of UK, Canada, Germany, and Japan.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Interest in a role with wide scope in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: Support the month-end close process by providing analytical reviews and making adjusting entries.
• Technical Accounting: Own key recurring technical accounting workbooks and documentation, ensuring strict compliance with ASC standards (e.g., 340, 842, 718, 606, and 326).
• Internal Controls: Provide feedback and implement new SOX internal control procedures, continuously refining processes to support the company’s growth.
• Assist with Special Projects: Drive cross-functional finance team initiatives, including NetSuite optimization, process automation, and ad-hoc accounting-related tasks as needed.
• External parties: Serve as the primarily liaison for external external auditors and tax advisors.
