The ideal candidate has 10+ years of progressive accounting experience and strong GAAP knowledge to support a growing organization.

The role requires oversight of monthly closes, financial statements, audits, and payroll-related accounting, with collaboration across departments to ensure accuracy and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, general ledger management, accounting operations, and internal controls.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and applicable accounting standards.
• Proven experience managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting financial information to executives.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Responsabilités

• Direct and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, payables, receivables, and reconciliations.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for timely, accurate reporting.
• Oversee preparation and maintenance of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Ensure GAAP compliance and proper classification of transactions.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and supporting documentation; investigate variances.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures; support audits and tax prep.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and leadership to ensure correct payroll accounting.
• Provide leadership to accounting staff and drive process improvements.
