Job summary

Cogent Biosciences is seeking a Contracts Specialist to support the Legal team with contract lifecycle operations, including initiation, negotiation, and administration. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager.

This role is primarily remote with monthly on-site meetings in Waltham, MA. Candidates should have 3–5 years in contracts administration, experience with Agiloft, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Agiloft Contracts Lifecycle Management platform.
• A bachelor’s degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in contracts administration, and/or legal-related experience, with contracts.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• In-depth analytical skills to dissect, interpret, and effectively manage contract clauses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, draft, and negotiate assigned contracts, including CDAs/NDAs, SOWs, Task Orders, and Order Forms.
• Coordinate acceptance and signature processes with appropriate signatories; maintain contract records and track key information.
• Assist with onboarding of company personnel to contracting SOPs and platforms; provide ongoing training and support.
