Job summary

Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to advise institutional stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters, including contracts, Title IX, ADA, IP, privacy, and technology issues. The role emphasizes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for both in-person and online programs, ensuring alignment with university policy and applicable law.

The attorney will work remotely with limited travel, collaborating with the legal and compliance teams to support university

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited US law school.
Attaining approved house counsel status in Connecticut is required.
Strong critical thinking and excellent legal analysis skills.
Interest in developing expertise in contract review and key contractual provisions.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a variety of agreements including vendor, technology, data privacy, and IP.
Review outgoing student communications for regulatory compliance.
Provide legal advice related to ethical operations and compliance.
Assist with international compliance for international student population.
Support compliance with privacy, GLBA, GDPR, NCAA, FERPA, TCPA, Title VI, and related laws.
Perform legal research and develop educational resources on regulatory issues.
