BCD Meetings & Events LLC is hiring a Contract Specialist to support contracting non-hotel venues and event suppliers while managing Provider of Incidental Agreements for the Purchasing Team.

This role is virtual and follows Eastern or Central Standard business hours. You will balance precision, deadlines, and problem-solving in a fast-moving event environment, coordinating with internal teams to meet budgeting and sourcing goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in meeting planning, hotel sales, sourcing, purchasing or contract management.
• Hands-on contracting experience with event vendors.
• Travel industry or destination knowledge aids smarter sourcing decisions.
• Strong accounting skills; comfortable maintaining budgets or collecting final invoices.
• CMP certification or college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating and executing non-hotel venue, event supplier, and POI agreements with accuracy and professionalism.
• Managing deadlines, turnaround times, and multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
• Handling confidential information in line with client brand standards and policies.
• Using Microsoft Word and Excel; quickly adopting new technology tools.
• Collaborating with internal teams to support purchasing needs.
