Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Contract Management Specialist II to deliver responsive contract support for the Commercial and Vendor Legal teams in a remote-first environment.

You will draft, negotiate, and manage commercial and vendor agreements, triage legal requests, coordinate approvals, and help improve templates and playbooks while meeting aggressive SLAs. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in contract management, a Bachelor’s degree (no JD required), CLM experience (Ironclad preferred), and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in contract management.
• Bachelor’s degree (no JD required).
• Experience with CLM platforms; Ironclad preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to independently manage routine and moderately complex matters.
• Judgment and critical thinking with negotiating lessons.
• Comfort in a high-volume, fast-moving environment.
• Detail-oriented and solutions-focused.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial and vendor agreements, amendments, NDAs, and other contracts.
• Triage incoming legal requests, answer contract questions, route matters needing specialist involvement.
• Coordinate contract approvals and cross-functional reviews.
• Maintain and improve templates, playbooks, training materials, and knowledge resources.
• Communicate contract positions, requirements, risks and next steps clearly to internal partners.
• Identify recurring pain points and implement process improvements to speed and quality.
• Manage and meet aggressive internal SLAs while balancing priorities.
• Partner with Legal Operations, Financial Systems, and Procurement on solutions.
• Support ad-hoc matters and special projects as the function evolves.
