Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CPhT certification preferred.
• ~2 years PBM experience in clinical services like utilization management or prior authorization.
• Experience with mail order and specialty pharmacy operations and formulary knowledge.
• Hands-on with formulary or drug information databases and PBM platforms.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to prepare reports and presentations.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in claims adjudication data and client-facing materials.
• Strong communication to coordinate with pharmacists and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Synchronize Medispan drug lists in the drug list management platform.
• Update PA coverage criteria documents with formulary updates and client customizations.
• Investigate claim rejections and resolve drug list and benefit setup questions.
• Publish coverage policies files and client drug lists under QA review.
• Establish QC checkpoints for PA updates, cleanup, and printing with pharmacist review.
• Generate and distribute medication lists and reports; prepare client-facing materials.
• Coordinate with pharmacists and internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency through tech and AI-enabled tools.
