Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active CPhT certification.
• 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• 2 years at a PBM supporting clinical services like utilization management or PA resolution.
• Experience with mail order and specialty pharmacy operations and NDC identifiers.
• Proficient in formulary or drug information databases and PBM platforms.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for reports and presentations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining claims data and client materials.
• Clear written and verbal communication to coordinate with teams and meet deadlines.
• Motivation to learn, adapt to technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Synchronize Medispan drug lists in the drug list management platform.
• Update PA coverage criteria documents with formulary updates.
• Maintain QL rules and downstream client-specific changes.
• Investigate claim rejections and resolve drug list and benefit setup questions.
• Escalate issues requiring clinical review.
• Prepare and publish coverage policies files and client drug lists under QA review.
• Establish QA checkpoints for PA updates, QL cleanup, and PA printing.
• Analyze and distribute medication lists and client-facing clinical materials.
• Coordinate with pharmacists and operations to meet deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy via technology and AI-enabled tools.
