Zusammenfassung

Protingent is seeking a contract Buyer to manage subcontract closeouts, POs, supplier coordination, and procurement support for lab activities. The role emphasizes timely reporting, supplier screening, and collaboration with the Contract Administrator and Shipping/Receiving teams.

Candidates should have related experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. U.S. citizenship or eligible status is required for export controls.

Qualifikationen

• Experience developing relationships with internal customers and suppliers.
• DOE/DOD environment experience preferred.
• Understanding of warehouse, shipping/receiving, and/or material handling.

Aufgaben

• Prepare monthly reports identifying subcontracts ready to close and initiate closeout with Contract Administrator.
• Prepare weekly reports identifying upcoming and past due POs.
• Contact suppliers to status POs and notify of delays to Contract Administrator.
• Coordinate with Shipping/Receiving to ensure timely receipt of items.
• Assist with new supplier screening and P-card procurement requisitions.
• Assist with resolving invoicing deficiencies and matching exceptions.
• Support Procurement Director or Manager with additional duties.
