Job summary

Contently is seeking experienced content strategists to guide leading brands in developing actionable, publication-focused content strategies. This freelance, remote role partners with clients to define objectives, identify assets, and design frameworks that drive campaigns from discovery through promotion.

You'll run discovery sessions, educate clients on branded content, and lead meetings with client teams.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in a publishing or agency environment.
• Experience in driving or contributing to content strategies on the client side or as an account planner, comms planner, digital strategist or community manager
• Experience in publishing technology from CMS platforms to analytics
• Ability to write clearly and without jargon
• Alignment to Contently's vision and core value.
• Avid consumer of media, of all types

Responsibilities

• Lead and customize ½ and full-day strategy sessions as part of the Contently Studio.
• Ideate, build and help achieve content strategies that communicate and achieve client objectives
• Educate clients about the importance and opportunities of branded content
• Attend and/or lead meetings with clients
