Galen College of Nursing, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Content Enrichment Specialist to focus on retention of at-risk students through structured academic support and timely interventions. The role emphasizes improving student success and coordinating with leadership to promote available resources.

The position involves coaching, collaboration with instructors, and data-informed planning. Travel to West Region campuses is required, with a remote work arrangement for eligible locations.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field is required.
• Previous teaching experience is required.
• Ability to assist students with Anatomy & Physiology, Nursing, and basic mathematics.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct academic support, including group and one-on-one enrichment, for at-risk students.
• Plans and provides services based on assessment methods at the course level, collaborating with faculty to develop interventions.
• Analyzes retention data and helps develop proactive plans to address concerns.
• Collaborates with faculty to develop enrichment resources based on assessment data.
• Provides study coaching for Nursing and Arts & Sciences course content.
• Educates students on NCLEX-style test-taking skills and time management through coaching.
• Monitors retention data and discusses findings with student affairs and campus leadership.
• Maintains documentation of student interactions in the SIS.
• Recommends and executes strategies to improve student success at the student and cohort level.
• Other duties as assigned.
