Job summary

Galen College of Nursing seeks a Content Enrichment Specialist to support at‑risk students with targeted interventions, enrichment resources, and test‑taking skills. This role collaborates with faculty and campus leadership to boost student success across West Region campuses and supports retention efforts while traveling as needed.

The position requires a Master’s degree in nursing or related field and prior teaching experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Previous teaching experience required.
• Ability to assist students with Anatomy & Physiology, Nursing, and basic mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct academic support, including group and one-on-one enrichment, for at-risk students.
• Plans and provides services based on assessment methods at the course level including course examinations and exams results; collaborates with faculty to develop interventions.
• Participates in the analysis of reports, including at-risk data, to identify academic issues and aid in proactive plans.
• Maintains documentation of all student interactions in the SIS.
• Recommends and executes strategies to improve student success at the student and cohort level.
