Job summary

EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Content Integration Editor to copyedit and prepare nursing and allied health content for publication. Working under moderate supervision, you will ensure content meets Clinical Decision quality standards and style guidelines.

You will tag metadata, work within a content management system, publish content, and perform ongoing QA. A bachelor's degree and editorial experience are required, with strong MS Word/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1 year of editorial experience.
• 2 years of experience demonstrating a high attention to detail and MS Office proficiency (Word with track changes and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Performs traditional copyediting to improve quality before online publication.
• Edits according to house style guides (AMA Manual of Style) as needed.
• Prepares content for publication (metadata tagging, CMS work, publishing, QA).
• Assists with content maintenance and updates.
• Performs QA after production to fix content issues across products.
• Identifies and promotes more efficient editorial workflows and methods.
• Communicates professionally with product teams and managers to address issues.
