Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to support the development and deployment of market-critical, innovative learning content across Sherpath courseware, Elsevier Adaptive Quizzing, and other digital products. You will manage digital projects from inception to production, liaising with SMEs, IDs, and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in English or related field
• Two or more years’ experience with digital content development
• Experience with media (online courses, multimedia, etc.)
• Self-starter with strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills
• Flexible and creative approach to problem solving with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage several complex projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of publishing process and MS Office; familiarity with EPUB, HTML5, HTML, XML, and AI-assisted authoring tools

Responsibilities

• Plan digital content development and delivery cadence
• Lead stand-up meetings with internal and external content development partners
• Ensure SMEs deliver work per schedule
• Identify issues with SMEs and mitigate risks
• Manage and consolidate reviews from SMEs and outsourced vendors for on-time content delivery
• Contribute to improving writing, assessment, and instructional design guidelines
• Review outlines, assessments, and content storyboards with partners
• Coordinate with participants and art research as needed
• Coordinate classification mapping and EAQ tasks with internal/external resources
• Oversee build content delivery and UAT fixes to ensure gold delivery
• Ensure on-time delivery
