You will lead high‑volume content projects, collaborate with editorial operations, product management, marketing, and SMEs to deliver accurate, engaging materials across print and digital formats.

The role emphasizes keeping content on time, on spec, within budget, and aligned with industry standards. Strong editing, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in academic and/or healthcare publishing.
• Travel: less than 10% for meetings and conferences.

Responsibilities

• Develop content and assets for print and digital products serving medical education and clinical practice audiences.
• Oversee assigned high-volume products during the development cycle to ensure timely, on-spec delivery within budget.
• Collaborate with SMEs, authors, vendors, and internal teams to create clear, engaging content for multiple platforms.
• Analyze proposals and sample content to assess market viability and SME/author capability.
• Provide direction on author/SME approach, pedagogy, illustrations, writing style, and digital resources.
• Create and monitor project budgets and schedules, preparing management reports as needed.
• Solve quality or scope issues and coordinate with teams to resolve timeline, budget, and vendor performance.
• Support development of digital assessments and resources to optimize content delivery.
• Enforce editorial standards and ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Evaluate content performance metrics and initiate improvements.
