Elsevier, a global leader in nursing and health education content, seeks a Digital Content Specialist to assist with development and deployment of market-critical learning content across Sherpath courseware and related products. You will coordinate SMEs, IDs, and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality output and drive adoption of our franchise titles.

The role emphasizes project management, strong writing and collaboration skills, and a flexible, proactive approach to problem solving

Qualifications

• Two or more years’ experience with digital content development.
• Experience with media such as online courses and multimedia.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Flexible, creative problem-solver with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Knowledge of EPUB, HTML5, HTML, XML, and AI-assisted authoring tools.
• Familiarity with publishing processes and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan digital content development and delivery cadence.
• Lead stand-up meetings with internal and external partners.
• Ensure SMEs deliver work products on schedule and review quality.
• Identify risks and work with the manager on mitigations.
• Coordinate reviews with SMEs and outsourced vendors for on-time content.
• Contribute to writing, assessment, and instructional design guidelines.
• Review outlines, assessments, and storyboards for final partner review.
• Coordinate with researchers and vendors for art and approvals.
• Oversee content builds, UAT fixes, and gold delivery.
• Drive on-time delivery and project ownership.
