Job summary

UtiliSave LLC is seeking a Consumer Class Action Attorney to lead its new in-house class action practice. You will own the consumer class action program, develop theories, allocate resources, and drive strategy across multiple cases arising from utility billing disputes.

The role offers full-time remote work with occasional travel, a strong compensation package, and opportunities to shape a mission-driven litigation practice.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 7 years of consumer class action litigation experience.
• Experience with CAFA jurisdiction, discovery management, and settlements.
• Strong knowledge of consumer protection statutes (FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, state acts).
• Proven ability to develop novel legal theories and pursue complex cases.
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy; persuasive briefs and depositions.

Responsibilities

• Identify, vet, and pursue consumer class action opportunities in utility billing disputes.
• Develop case theories, manage discovery, and assess class certification likelihood.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests with precision.
• Negotiate settlements and structure class-wide recovery.
• Represent classes at hearings, depositions, mediation, and trial.
• Collaborate with outside counsel, experts, and claims administrators.
