Job summary

UtiliSave LLC is seeking a Consumer Class Action Attorney to lead a new in-house practice focusing on utility billing disputes and cost recovery. You will develop case theories, manage discovery, and negotiate settlements while directing associate and paralegal support.

With 7+ years of plaintiff-side class action experience, you will advise executive leadership on litigation strategy and collaborate with audit teams to translate findings into claims and evidence packages.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of consumer class action litigation experience, plaintiff-side preferred.
• Strong expertise in class action law, including CAFA jurisdiction and discovery management.

Responsibilities

• Identify consumer class action opportunities arising from utility billing disputes and systemic overcharges.
• Develop case theories, strategies, and pursue class certification.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests with precision and strategy.
• Manage discovery, depositions, and settlements; represent classes at hearings and trials.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and experts; advise executive leadership on litigation portfolio decisions.
