Job summary

Topcon Positioning Systems is seeking a Construction Software Sales Account Manager to drive growth in the AEC space. You’ll own the sales process from prospecting to close, partnering with Architects, Engineers, Contractors and Owners to demonstrate Autodesk construction solutions.

This remote outside sales role covers eastern WA and north ID, requiring 1–5 years of sales experience in the AEC industry, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1–5 years of sales experience (AEC industry experience strongly preferred).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Competitive, self-motivated, high-energy, and results-driven.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
• Willingness and ability to quickly learn Autodesk products and the AEC industry.

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified leads, win new business, and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Prospect daily via phone, email, and targeted outreach (30+ calls per day).
• Build, manage, and nurture your pipeline using CRM tools.
• Research market opportunities and develop strategic sales plans.
• Clearly articulate and demonstrate the value of Autodesk construction solutions.
• Create excitement and enthusiasm among prospects through consultative selling.
• Attend trade shows, customer events, and marketing activities.
• Cultivate long-term, trusted customer relationships.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Solve customer challenges, sometimes with limited guidance, using creativity and initiative.
