Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) is seeking a skilled construction professional to manage contract documents, coordinate submittals, verify elevations, and participate in site activities. The role emphasizes quality control, safety, and adherence to plans and specifications across heavy civil construction projects.

Formación

• Must understand specifications, drawings, redlines and other contract docs.
• Proficient in earthwork activities: excavating, stockpiling, hauling, placement, compaction.
• Proficient in concrete activities: formwork, reinforcement, curing, CLSM placement.
• Familiar with industry and government best practices for heavy civil construction.
• Proficient in OSHA and Reclamation Safety and Health Standards (RSHS) regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and observe safety protocols.

Responsabilidades

• Become familiar with contractual documents and ensure compliance with plans and specs.
• Provide submittals administration and coordinate with contractors.
• Verify elevations and coordinates against drawings.
• Attend construction meetings, document notes and actions.
• Be on-site with CC to observe work and ensure compliance; may require odd hours.
• Oversee quality control and safety for the construction project.
• Assist field staff with QC and safety measures per standards.
• Other duties as assigned by Construction Manager Level III.
