Job summary

Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) is seeking an on-site Construction QC Specialist to support field operations under the Construction Manager Level - III. This role focuses on document control, submittals, RFIs, and ensuring compliance with contract drawings and government standards.

You will verify elevations, attend meetings, monitor safety, and coordinate with Reclamation field staff to uphold quality and health requirements.

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading specifications and drawings.
• Experience with earthwork QC and material testing.
• Knowledge of concrete placement and CLSM is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA/RSHS) required.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with contractual docs and manage project references.
• Administer submittals and RFIs; coordinate reviews.
• Verify elevations and coordinates against drawings.
• Attend construction meetings; document notes and actions.
• Oversee site safety and quality; ensure compliance with specs.
• Support field staff on quality control and safety.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Construction Manager Level - III.
