Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) is seeking a Field Engineer – Assistant QC for a project north of St. Louis, MO.

You will support project execution, procurement, quality control, safety leadership, and client relationships on federal construction programs. The role requires 8–10 years of relevant experience, proficiency with bluebeam or similar PDF tools, and a proactive, accountable approach to coordinating with subcontractors and government representatives.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in similar positions.
• Proficient in Bluebeam or similar PDF editing software.
• Take ownership of every project and anticipate problems before they impact schedule or budget.
• Hold subcontractors accountable while maintaining strong working relationships.
• Communicate openly and professionally with project teams.
• Thrive in fast-paced federal construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with schedules and sequencing of multiple trades.
• Assist Superintendent with look-ahead schedules and coordination with government reps.
• Assist with meeting agendas, follow-up, and minutes.
• Review drawings, specs, and contract documents with subcontractors.
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment for efficient execution.
• Support project turnover and closeout activities.
