Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction experience or relevant education and field experience.
• General Contractor License and relevant licenses/certifications.
• Strong ability to analyze problems and present actionable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Expert Witness for lawsuits and insurance claims.
• Prepare and present expert testimony including deposition, arbitration, and trial.
• Develop an expert marketing strategy and prepare resume/CV and testimony lists.
• Attend site investigations and document observations with photos and notes.
• Review construction documents and legal documents, summarizing findings.
• Produce technical reports and cost estimates for clients.
• Attend client meetings and communicate actions and outcomes.
• Track time billed to clients and maintain billable hour targets.
• Collaborate with management on quarterly professional development goals.
