The ideal candidate has a long track record in construction and prior experience as an Expert Witness, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience or a blend of relevant education and field experience.
• General Contractor License required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Prior experience serving as a designated Expert Witness in construction-related litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex technical information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the designated Expert Witness for lawsuits and insurance claims.
• Prepare expert reports, testimony, and cost analyses.
• Attend site investigations to inspect structures and document observations.
• Review construction documents and legal filings to support conclusions.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to gather information and deliver findings.
• Maintain billable hours and contribute to portfolio metrics.
