Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Project Manager for Construction and Commissioning to lead field operations across project phases, ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and budget adherence. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel within the USA up to 30%.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in project management for Construction or Commissioning, plus a relevant college or bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• College or bachelor’s degree in management or engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• 5+ years in project management organization in Construction or Commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in site work and strategy definition with the Project Director and Construction leader.
• Build the project financial and physical progress tracking structure for site works and update monthly.
• Perform the Site schedule weekly updates for planned vs. actual progress.
• Coordinate communications across project teams to secure planning and execution.
• Identify scope management changes and provide oversight for quantity and quality impacts.
• Track site documentation for timely issuance to the customer (methods, site quality plan, commissioning reports).
• Lead mobilization tollgate reviews and plan resources, safety equipment, and site trainings.
• Prepare and lead site demobilization at project end.
