Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Commissioning Advisor to lead commissioning activities for Gas Power Equipment- Combined Cycle plants, ensuring systems are installed, tested, and ready for start-up in line with safety and project specs.

You will work with engineering, construction, and plant operations teams to support start-up, testing, turnover, and handover, with travel to sites as required on a remote position in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline required.
• Minimum of 5 years of commissioning experience in power generation.
• Ability to travel to construction sites 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating commissioning activities with PM, engineering, construction, and operations teams.
• Lead and supervise commissioning personnel, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and validation of plant systems.
• Maintain turnover documentation and progress reporting.
• Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
