Job summary

Velocity Plant Services is seeking a relationship-focused Business Development Associate to help grow our presence into a new territory. You will cultivate connections with water and wastewater facilities, identify opportunities, and assist with proposals to secure new business.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or related role (entry-level).
• Knowledge of the industrial and/or manufacturing sector.
• Experience in the plant services or maintenance industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
• Assist with the preparation of reports and other materials related to business development activities and results.
• Support the management of existing client relationships to ensure their satisfaction and continued business with Velocity Plant Services.
• Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that sales and business development efforts are aligned with overall company goals and objectives.
• Provide support to the Director of Business Development in the execution of business development strategies and initiatives.
