Placements24 is assisting a leading environmental conservation organization in recruiting an experienced Environmental Project Manager. This fully remote role focuses on leading conservation and ecological restoration projects from conception through completion.

Responsibilities include planning, budgeting, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and reporting. A strong background in environmental science and project leadership is essential, with a Bachelor's and ideally a Master's degree.

Competenze

• 6+ years of progressive experience in environmental project management
• Experience managing complex environmental projects from initiation to closure
• Strong understanding of environmental principles, conservation strategies, and ecological restoration
• Proven experience in project planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
• A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Conservation Biology, or a related field
• A Master’s degree is highly desirable

Mansioni

• Lead the planning, implementation, and management of environmental conservation projects
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to technical requirements and quality standards
• Manage project budgets and track financial performance, ensuring cost-effectiveness
• Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure project success
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and impact evaluations for environmental projects
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and policies
• Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans
• Prepare regular project reports for management and stakeholders, detailing progress, challenges, and outcomes
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members
• Engage with local communities and government agencies related to project activities
• Stay current with environmental science advancements and best practices in project management
• Manage contracts with vendors and service providers for project execution
