Job summary

Canacre is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to oversee environmental projects from planning through completion, remotely from the Florida area. You will coordinate permitting, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement to ensure projects meet all requirements.

The role requires strong project management, regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with clients and teams to deliver on schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Resources, or related field.
• 10-15 years experience in wetlands, threatened and endangered species, and understanding how they relate to permitting.
• Experience with wetland delineations and permitting; NEPA; USACE coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to advance permitting and compliance.
• Lead internal project teams and client communications; provide regular updates and solutions.
• Ensure project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction are met.
