Job summary
Hologic seeks a Connectivity Engineer II to support healthcare customers by ensuring the interoperability of networked medical devices within healthcare information systems. This remote role emphasizes troubleshooting, collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams, and maintaining system performance.
You will document actions, participate in technical discussions, and ensure compliance with FDA and ISO requirements while advancing product connectivity knowledge and customer
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years in a technical support/IT role.
- Experience troubleshooting software, hardware, and network issues.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and remote access technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support focusing on connectivity and interoperability within healthcare information systems.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis using diagnostic tools.
- Support product installations, software upgrades, configurations, and connectivity projects.
- Deliver timely, high-quality support with a strong customer focus.
- Take ownership of escalated cases and communicate status updates.
