Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare seeks a Connection Advisor Intermediate for the fast-paced, high-volume Connection Center. You will answer inbound calls, verify demographics and insurance, and schedule or reschedule appointments across clinics using EHR and call-center tools.

The role requires strong communication, data accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a structured environment. Remote work is supported within a 100-mile radius of downtown Minneapolis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in customer service and data entry.
• Experience in a call center with healthcare familiarity preferred.
• Remote work experience and ability to maintain a quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and address caller needs; verify demographics and insurance.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments per policies.
• Handle complex scheduling across providers and modalities.
• Ensure accurate patient registrations and up-to-date information.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Escalate issues to supervisors and coordinate with nurse line as needed.
