Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Conflicts Counsel (Lateral Hire Focus) to join the Conflicts Department. You will review conflicts, draft waivers, and guide ethical walls for intake, lateral hires, and engagements.

You will coordinate with Client Engagement, Risk Management, and attorneys; maintain records; and provide training and guidance on conflicts across firm locations. A JD and active U.S. license are required, with 2+ years of conflicts experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and active U.S. law license in the jurisdiction where you reside.
• Two or more years of conflicts-related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Intapp Open/Terms; strong writing skills; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve conflicts of interest; provide concise evaluations and steps for resolution.
• Draft and review conflict waivers and engagement letters; assess ethical walls.
• Communicate with attorneys, analysts, and leadership; maintain accurate conflict records.
