Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Conflicts Counsel (Lateral Hire Focus) to join the firm’s Conflicts Department. The role involves identifying and resolving conflicts of interest for intake, lateral clearance, and engagement letters, with collaboration across risk management and client engagement teams.

Ideal candidates hold a JD with a U.S. license and have 2+ years of conflicts experience, strong writing skills, and familiarity with Intapp Open/Terms.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and active U.S. law license required.
• Two+ years of conflicts-related experience preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Experience with Intapp Open and Intapp Terms preferred.
• Ability to travel to other firm locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve conflicts of interest for intake and lateral hires.
• Draft conflicts waivers and review engagement letters for conflicts issues.
• Maintain records of conflicts resolutions and ethics controls.
• Provide training to conflicts analysts and firm staff on conflicts and ethics topics.
• Collaborate with Conflicts, Client Engagement, and Risk Management teams.
