Qualifications

• Experience conducting conflict checks and risk assessments for new clients/matters.
• Ability to review requests for completeness and accuracy with supporting corporate structure research.
• Familiarity with firm templates and standards for engagement documents.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze potential risk considerations for new client and matter openings.
• Review conflict requests for completeness, verify party information, and conduct corporate structure research as needed.
• Perform conflict searches within firm databases to support new business intake and related initiatives.
• Collaborate with conflicts attorneys and staff to resolve questions about client information.
• Maintain conflicts database with accurate documentation of conflicts.
• Review engagement letters to ensure compliance with templates and standards and support approval decisions.
• Track and follow up on intake requests and documentation, including waivers and related items.
• Process updates to client/matter information to ensure accuracy.
