Job summary

Fisher Phillips is seeking an experienced Conflicts Attorney to join the New Business Intake team in a fully remote role covering East Coast and West Coast US regions. Ideal candidates have direct law-firm conflicts experience and at least 2 years of hands-on analysis.

The role involves evaluating conflict reports for new business, lateral hires, and RFPs, with collaboration across the firm’s risk, GC, and intake teams. Strong judgment, confidentiality, and ethics knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of conflicts experience in a law firm.
• Knowledge of conflicts of interest rules and ethics.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex conflict reports and identify potential conflict of interest issues.
• Conduct jurisdictional/ethical research to support conflict resolution strategies.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to gather necessary information.
• Draft consents and conflicts waivers complying with standards.
• Maintain conflicts database and ensure accurate reporting.
