Job summary

Ice Miller LLP seeks a Conflicts Attorney in the United States to perform conflicts searches and due diligence for new clients, employees, and matters across offices. This role requires JD, active US license, and at least two years of relevant experience.

The position supports remote work and emphasizes confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include analyzing reports, managing intake data, and collaborating with Risk teams to document processes.

Qualifications

• J.D. or equivalent and active U.S. license to practice law.
• Two years of experience as a Conflicts Attorney or equal practice experience.
• Strong understanding of risk management and legal relationships.
• Ability to independently identify conflicts of interest and resolve them.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong research skills and ability to analyze complex data.
• Ability to manage complex legal information and document processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills for internal and external clients.
• Available to work remotely, after hours, and produce results.

Responsibilities

• Perform conflicts searches and due diligence across new clients, employees, matters, and submissions.
• Analyze, review, and approve conflicts reports; identify potential concerns.
• Manage intake data and ensure accuracy per policies and procedures.
• Identify misinformation and adjust search terms for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Risk and Information Governance to document and store processes.
• Provide input for process improvements and stay updated on industry trends.
• Manage efforts to resolve conflicts and communicate resolutions to attorneys.
• Draft and review waiver and engagement letters as directed.
