AMS Staffing Inc. is assisting an international AmLaw 100 firm in hiring a Conflicts Analyst for a fully remote role.

The position pays $70K–$115K annually plus a performance-based bonus and competitive benefits, with eligibility for candidates in NYC metro and several US states. The role involves conducting conflicts searches, analyzing potential conflicts of interest, and enabling lawful client and matter clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in law firm conflicts, new business intake or professional responsibility.
• Proficiency with corporate and legal research databases and resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain conflicts clearly.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Aptitude for learning new systems and contributing to tech improvements.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct corporate and other due diligence on clients and related parties.
• Perform conflicts searches and process new business intake.
• Review search results and escalate high-risk issues to senior staff.
• Communicate results to lawyers and stakeholders and obtain needed information.
• Assist in drafting conflict waivers and engagement letters under supervision.
• Maintain accuracy of conflicts and matter databases.
• Develop knowledge of conflicts rules and firm policies.
• Evaluate research findings with sound judgment and escalation when needed.
• Support administrative tasks and special projects within the team.
• Provide after-hours support on a rotating basis.
