Global Powerhouse in California is seeking two Conflicts Analysts to join a midsize law firm’s growing team. You will perform ethical and business conflict checks, manage matter openings/closings, and maintain engagement records, working closely with attorneys to resolve conflicts efficiently.

The role offers a dynamic environment in a premier firm with a broad conflicts practice, reporting to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete Ethical and Business Conflicts process for client/matters and stock purchases.
• Review and enter billing rates for new client/matters
• Handle client/matter opening and closing process electronically
• Work closely with attorneys and other staff to facilitate the prompt resolution of identified conflicts
• Maintains accurate tracking records and completes all conflicts review projects undertaken within the Firm in a timely fashion
• Manage conflicts database and update as necessary
• Maintain file of signed engagement letters
