Job summary

Sheppard Mullin, Richter & Hampton, a global Am Law 50 firm, seeks a Conflicts Analyst to join the Office of the General Counsel. You will research, analyze, and resolve conflicts of interest related to matter intake and lateral hiring, reporting findings to in-house counsel.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in conflicts administration, proficiency with iManage/Intapp-based tools, and strong writing, research, and organizational skills. This role offers hybrid work from one of our U.S. offices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience within conflicts administration at a mid to large size law firm
• Experience with conflicts databases and intake systems
• Strong research skills and ability to interpret professional conduct rules

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with attorneys to research, analyze, and resolve conflicts of interest
• Review client/matter intake forms for completeness and accuracy
• Review searches and reports for new business and lateral candidates
• Summarize key findings in reports and communicate clearly
• Monitor shared inbox for urgent conflict requests
