Job summary

Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP seeks a Conflicts Analyst to join our Conflicts team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a mid- to large-sized law firm conflicts department and will perform research and prepare conflicts search reports for new business and lateral matters.

The role supports ethical screening, engagement letters, and resolution of conflicts under the direction of Conflicts Counsel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a law firm conflicts department.
• Experience with Intapp or equivalent conflicts software is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Ability to work remotely outside normal business hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Define effective search strategies and conduct conflicts searches for new business and potential lateral matters.
• Analyze, articulate and communicate search results to firm attorneys, including identifying and resolving potential conflicts.
• Perform comprehensive corporate research to determine affiliations and relationships.
• Collaborate with Conflicts Counsel and team to assist in conflicts resolution.
• Draft engagement letters, conflict waivers and ethical screen memorandums.
