Job summary

Kalani Consulting, Inc. seeks a Configuration Management & Documentation Specialist / Technical Writer to own the program's documentation configuration and artifact library.

You will convert engineering content into clear, actionable documents for non-engineering stakeholders and provide support to the Program Manager on recurring deliverables, including weekly reports and leadership briefs. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of federal-facing technical writing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated technical writing experience for a federal customer, including SOPs and process documentation.
• Experience performing configuration management of documentation and artifacts across a program.
• Experience building and operating an intake or work-request process with a defined RACI.
• Ability to edit engineering content into documentation for non-engineering stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish, own, and maintain the program Artifact Library with version control and traceability.
• Design, document, and operate the COSE intake process with a defined RACI and workflows.
• Produce and maintain Intake Workflow Documentation and the Stakeholder Training Guide.
• Support the Program Manager in producing Weekly Progress Report, Quad Chart, and Leadership Briefing Package.
• Support development of the Contractor Program Management Plan (CPMP).
• Edit and translate engineering content into accessible documentation for non-engineering audiences.
• Apply configuration management discipline to all program documentation.
