Job summary

Intermountain Health in Murray, Utah, seeks a Business Systems Configuration Analyst I to analyze, design, configure, test, implement and support healthcare platform software configurations.

The role uses relational databases and SQL scripting to develop configurations, perform unit testing, and meet regulatory requirements while delivering timely change requests. A two-year healthcare or business systems background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with business systems or in healthcare, with a thorough understanding of claims processing and billing.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Ability to run basic queries and reports.
• Willing to work outside core business hours to meet business needs.
• Experience with relational databases and data models.
• Ability to design basic SQL queries.
• Experience in a configuration analyst role.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, configure, test, implement and support healthcare platform software configuration.
• Review change requests for consistency and compatibility with existing systems.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and implement required business functions within SLAs.
• Provide status updates and documentation in change management system.
• Work with management to identify business processes and potential improvements.
