First Quality Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Compute Services Manager to lead the Data Center Services and Cloud Platform & Infrastructure Operations teams. You will drive standardization, roadmaps, and performance for on‑premise and cloud compute platforms across Linux, Windows, and Azure environments.

The ideal candidate combines 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience with 5+ years in leadership, strong VMware/Nutanix expertise, and proven vendor management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience with compute, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• 5+ years of leadership or management experience overseeing technical teams.
• Experience with VMware technologies and Nutanix AHV hyper-converged infrastructure.
• Experience managing Azure compute services, landing zones, automation, governance and FinOps.
• Understanding of enterprise backup, DR and BC strategies.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS and identity integration.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 platforms.
• Vendor management, contract negotiations, and procurement experience.
• ITIL-based project and process management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Compute Services organization across Data Center Services and Cloud Platform teams.
• Develop and maintain roadmaps for compute, virtualization, storage, backup, and hybrid cloud platforms.
• Coach and develop team members; drive talent growth.
• Set architectural standards and operational practices across on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Oversee design, implementation, and lifecycle management of on-premises compute platforms and Azure services.
• Ensure security posture, patching, hardening, and compliance across compute platforms.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement for compute platforms.
• Oversee budgets, demand planning, and resource allocation.
• Lead service transition processes and incident resolution with RCA.
