Qualifications

Our client is looking for an experienced Data Center Engineer with strong technical expertise, leadership qualities, and excellent communication skills. You will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of on-premises infrastructure and data center solutions. The ideal candidate has deep experience with virtualization platforms, storage technologies, automation tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively across both business and IT teams.

This role is critical in driving modernization across compute, virtualization, storage, and automation platforms, ensuring the environment remains resilient, scalable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support data center infrastructure, including Cisco HX/UCS, Nutanix HCI, VMware vSphere/vSAN, and Cohesity.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, automation initiatives, and disaster recovery projects.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Administer Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL) and Windows Server environments, ensuring uptime, performance, and compliance.
